Co-owners Matthew Milkint and Tressa Hartman founded Phoenix Collision in March of 2006 following the devastating tornadoes that hit Springfield, Illinois. Matthew had over 13 years of experience in the industry when his place of employment was destroyed by the storms. After assisting with clean-up and realizing it would be a year before they could re-open, he decided to fulfill his dream of opening his own facility.

Tressa joined him a month later, bringing with her over 11 years of experience in customer retention, product development, and marketing. They chose a location on Springfield's West side, where both of them grew up. Today, Phoenix Collision has become one of the most trusted collision repair facilities in the area with the support of family, friends and the community.
