First Electric Motor Shop, Inc. has a long, rich history in Springfield, Illinois, dating back over 70 years.

First Electric Motor Shop has been in the Springfield area since 1972. The company was founded with one goal in mind, providing sales and service with speed. Motor sales, accessories, service and repair are their main focus.

Existing under different names, First Electric Motor Shop, Inc. saw over fifty years of motor repair under its previous owners, Arnold Kochman and Journeyman Electrician Jack Burris, who purchased the business in 1954.

In September 2021 First Electric Motor Shop, Inc. was purchased by current owners, Brad DeLuka, and Brandon Rebbe. Brad is part of the family that established First Electric Motor, Inc. in Springfield, Illinois in 1972. The business has grown over the many years of its existence, leading them to Height Media at the end of 2022 to discuss the need for an updated website and social media efforts.

In November of 2020 Height Media worked with Landon Kirby to film a promotional video for Knob Hill Landscape Company that celebrated their 10-year anniversary, featured their story, vision, designs and installations spanning over a decade. Helping to introduce the world to The Knob Hill Way is a point of pride for us.

A New Site.

In early 2023 Height Media began photographing several of First Electric Motor's projects, collecting content and history for their social media efforts and for the creation of a new First Electric Motor website.

Height Media launched the First Electric Motor website and social media channels in July of 2023 to focus on their sales, fast, reliable service and history in the Springfield community.
